Ginny, listen.. I can't be involved with you anymore. We've got to stop seeing each other. We can't be together."" It's for some stupid noble reason isn't it?"" It's been like..like something out of someone else's life these last few weeks with you. But I can't..we can't.. I've got to do things alone now. Voldemort uses people his enemies are close to. He's already used you as bait once, and that was just because you were my best friend's sister. Think how much danger you'll be in if we keep this up. He'll know, he'll find out. He'll try and get me through you."" What if I don't care?"" I care. How do you think I'd feel if this was your funeral..and it was my fault.. J.k. Rowling
About This Quote

On this day, July 26th, in 1982, the movie E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial was released in the United States. It is the highest-grossing film of all time and has won four Academy Awards. The film was directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Melissa Mathison, who won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the film. The story is about a young boy named Elliott. He lives with his divorced parents in a small town called Indianapolis.

His mother, Mary Louise, works as a waitress at a diner while his father has been laid off from his job at a toy company. One night when his mother is out, Elliott sneaks over to a neighbor's house and finds an alien named E.T. hiding in their garage.

E.T takes Elliott back home with him and introduces him to two other aliens who each have names: Gertie and Elliot. After E.T leaves, Elliott begins asking questions about how he ended up in their garage and what he is supposed to do with him. Elliott soon realizes that E.T.'s friends have been abducted by humans and that he must go back to them to get them back from humans so that they can return home with E.T., thus restoring peace on Earth. Elliott sets off for Georgia to inform his friend Michael about why he needs to go back to E.T.'s planet for the aliens' freedom, but it turns out that Michael has also been wrongfully abducted by humans and is being held in a large warehouse full of children where he is forced to play games by the people who are holding him captive; if he loses, they will kill him or make him play with another child. Meanwhile, two policemen (Donald Pleasence (R) and Charles Napier (L)) are driving through Indiana when their car breaks down near the small town where Elliott lives with his parents; they learn that there are aliens living in Elliot's house, which seems odd because no one has ever seen aliens before in Indiana (although they've found loads of alien toys).

After they leave Indiana behind, one of them goes into an inn where an alien named Gertie appears at his window asking him what Earth is like; when she ends up locked out of her room during the night because she doesn't have her key card handy at all times for some reason (it's not clear why she keeps forgetting it), she tries to sneak down
